RECYCLING SERVICES
New UK/EEC RoHS and WEEE Directives and Laws
It is now illegal for businesses to deposit used fluorescent tubes, mercury, discharge lamps and most electronic components in landfill sites.
There is enough mercury in an old 6ft T8 or T12 fluorescent tube to pollute 30,000 liters of drinking water. So it has to be carefully disposed of ensuring that it does not enter water tables through landfill and waste sites.

Our Disposal and Recycling Service
- As a manufacturer and supplier of energy saving lamps and electronic components we provide a licensed, accredited and fully approved recycling service for all your used fluorescent and other lamps.
- 97% of your used lamps are recycled into useful products

- Lamps and Tubes are safely broken using the Bulbeater TM which captures dust particles and neutralises the potentially harmful mercury vapour.
- The broken lamps then enter the recycling plant which separates the different materials.
- The resultant glass, aluminium, mercury and phosphor powder are recycled back into new products.
